Two visionaries, one idea After completing his engineer studies, Paul Schärer Jr. joined the family business in 1961. The engineer had big ideas: he wanted to build a modern, industrial factory. He partnered with Fritz Haller, a respected architect of Solothurn school. Born from architecture Haller developed a flexible construction system with various steel modules.
