Urbanscape Sedum-Mix Blanket kmuf vsuumoNURBANSCAPE Description Urbanscape Sedum-mix blankets are cultivated with at least eleven different species of sedum. Every delivery of Urbanscape Sedum-Mix blanket consists of at least six to eight different sedum varieties. Blankets boast at least 95% coverage upon delivery. Sebaceous sedum plants are adept at storing water in their leaves and are therefore extremely suitable for varying weather conditions. During the blooming season, different sedums provide nutrition for pollinators like bees and butterflies. Installation > Upon delivery of Sedum-Mix blankets to the construction site, it is warmly recommended to install Sedum-Mix blankets within 24 hours after delivery. It is important to follow this guideline, especially during hot days. > If Sedum-Mix blankets are not to be installed immediately after delivery, it is recommended to place them in the shade immediately after delivery. However, the recommendation of installation within 24 hours should still be followed. If possible, unpack them from the pallet. This is to minimize the possibility of rotting or any other undesirable biological processes inside of Sedum-Mix blankets. > Gently roll out the Urbanscape Sedum-mix blanket crosswise onto the Urbanscape Green Roll. > Start with the flap at the top. Check the position of the blanket before rolling it out. > If necessary, the blanket can be cut to the right size by scissors or a hook cutter. > The vegetation layer must cover the total area of Urbanscape Green Roll. In case of installing gravel on the edges, make sure that non-vegetation area is at least 20 cm from the edge of the green roof. > Fertilize the vegetation layer with the nutrients 1 or 2 times a year. > Urbanscape Sedum-Mix blankets can be used on roofs with slopes of up to 20°. Caution: Intensive and excessive walking on the plants (more than is normally required for maintenance) can damage the plants to such an extent that they cannot recover.
