Crash Rated Beam The model TCRB-4 pivoting barrier arm is ASTM F2656-07 M30 P1 certified (equivalent to Department of State K4). The unit includes an aluminum arm assembly, pivot stanchion, receiver stanchion, and can be operated either manually (using a counterweight) or by an electro-mechanical power unit. All of the steel components are painted black, and the arm is an aluminum square tube, powder coated white, with DOT approved reflective tape. The electro-mechanical TCRB-4 uses an electric motor, gear box and linkage assembly to operate the arm to the full up and down position. The electromechanical unit is self contained and is attached directly to the pivot stanchion.
