Overview
Kloben SKY CPC 58 solar collectors are high-performance components of forced circulation systems, designed and manufactured in Italy. They undergo rigorous quality checks to ensure consistent and reliable performance over time.

Specifications
The solar collectors are available in four models: SKY 8, SKY 12, SKY 18, and SKY 21, with varying dimensions, weight, and liquid content. They feature borosilicate glass pipes with a vacuum and a multi-layer metallisation for solar radiation absorption. The collectors have a gross area ranging from 1.46 m² to 3.75 m² and an aperture area from 1.27 m² to 3.31 m².

Performance and Standards
The collectors are tested according to SABS 1210:1992, with a maximum impact resistance of 13.6 J. The Würzburg Test indicates a supplied energy of 733 kWh/(m² year) for a 3 m² opening area. They comply with EN 12975-1:2006 and EN 12975-2:2006 standards.

The SKY CPC 58 series offers several advantages, including high performance in minimal space, easy pipe removal with the EASY CHANGE system, and reduced thermal losses due to vacuum technology. They are suitable for installations with limited space.

Construction and Materials
The absorption unit consists of a U-shaped copper circuit in contact with aluminium heat absorbers, enhancing the heat exchange surface. The units are housed in glass pipes and connected to a collector that distributes the carrier fluid. The structure is supported by a metal frame with electro-coloured aluminium, resistant to saline mist corrosion, and insulated with non-flammable, water-repellent materials.

Technical Data
The collectors have a vacuum tube external diameter of 58 mm and collector attachments of 18 mm. They achieve a yield of η0 = 71.80% with thermal loss coefficients a1 = 0.974 W/m²K and a2 = 0.005 W/m²K². The maximum working pressure is 6.0 bar, with an optimal flow rate of 1 l/min m².
