He created Gobi after conducting an in-depth study of skill and artisanship, which we believe are the most authentic expressions of people’s humanity and creativity. The beauty of the Gobi basket makes it a stellar example of Belgian dexterity and artisanship. Each one is made by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques. The ropes are made from recycled plastic bottles, with an outer layer of recycled acrylic. The result is a unique product every time, with slight differences in colour and shape.
