Protective Equipment Use in well ventilated conditions and ensure all recommended protective equipment is worn during handling & use of this product. For full recommendation, refer to safety data sheet. Preparation • All surfaces to be bonded must be close fitting, degreased, clean, and free from dust and any other contamination. Application • Remove any skin on the surface of the adhesive and stir before use. • Apply the adhesive to one surface only using brush or roller. • Open time will be approximately 5 minutes depending on ambient conditions. • Assembly should be made as soon as convenient within the open time. • Pressing should be carried out as soon as possible after assembly whilst the adhesive is still wet. It is recommended that a press time of 14 - 20 minutes is used at 20°C. In a heated press at 70°C the minimum press time is reduced to 3-5 minutes. Pressure should be between 0.21 and 0.69 N/mm2 (30 to 100 p.s.i.). Usage / Purpose WD120 is a premium PVA adhesive sutiable for internal and external applications where resistance to water is required. It is ideal for bonding wood, decorative laminates, chipboard, blockboard, veneers and similar substrates. illbruck WD120 is suitable for use in non-stressed high humidity indoor environments and indoor our outdoor applications where intermittent contact with cold or hot water may occur. All figures given are for wood to wood at approximately 14% moisture content at 20°C: • After 15 minutes press - 4.14 N/mm2 • After 60 minutes press - 6.21 N/mm2 Coverage 5.0 to 70 m2 of bonded area per kg Cleaning Tools, equipment and surplus adhesive can be removed with a damp cloth before the adhesive dries.
