Product catalog summary
Product Overview
SP925 is a one-component, low-viscosity sealant based on hybrid polymer technologies. It is chemically neutral, low odor, and compatible with most common building substrates. It cures by reacting with moisture in the air to form a firm, elastic, weather, and airtight coating with good UV resistance. It is ideal for sealing small joints where movement is likely to occur and has excellent adhesion, even on slightly damp surfaces.
Specifications
  • Color: Anthracite
  • Packaging: 600 ml sausage (20 per carton)
  • Consumption: Varies by joint size, e.g., 6 meters for 50x2 mm joint per 600 ml sausage
  • Material: Based on hybrid polymer
  • Cure: Moisture
  • Specific Gravity: ~1.3
  • Shore A Hardness: 30
  • Temperature Resistance: -40°C to +90°C
  • Application Temperature: +5°C to +40°C

Usage and Benefits
SP925 is designed for providing weather and airtightness in areas difficult to seal with conventional sealants. It is brushable and sprayable, making it suitable for complex small joints. Key benefits include easy handling, permanent elasticity, fast curing, and being solvent, isocyanate, and silicone-free. It can be applied to damp substrates.

  • Tensile Strength: ~2.1 N/mm²
  • Elongation at Break: ~340%
  • Elastic Recovery: 75%
Application Instructions
  • Apply using a sausage gun or air gun (Cox Jetflow3 recommended at 6-8 bar).
  • Spread evenly into a film of about 2 mm thick with a minimum width of 25 mm to both sides of the joint.
  • Remove masking tape immediately after spreading.
  • Clean surfaces with AW414 Mild Cleaner before application.
  • For joint widths larger than 6 mm, use a backer like FM330 PU Foam.
Compatibility and Precautions
SP925 is paintable with water-based paints, but flexibility must be considered. It is not recommended for use with polyethylene, silicone, butyl rubber, neoprene, EPDM, and surfaces containing bitumen or tar. Use in well-ventilated conditions and wear recommended protective equipment. Refer to the safety data sheet for full recommendations.
