illbruck making it perfect. Description OS111 is bituminous sealant and adhesive that can be applied on damp, wet or submerged substrates. It is ideal for: sealing leaks and making repairs, even on wet surfaces, adhesives for all types of roofing felts; including APP- and SBS- modified membranes, waterproof finishing of overlaps, connections and joints of roof edges, chimneys, light domes and bushings for exhaust pipes, fixing rain water drain systems onto the roof, connection of damp courses and other waterproofing wall details (e.g. inner-walls), fixing overlaps of roofing felt at rising outer walls, temporary remedial or repair of plumbing. Surface Preparation • Joint faces should be clean, free from dust, oil, grease, old sealant and any traces of contaminant which may affect adhesion. Any previously applied sealant/adhesive must be mechanically removed.

Bituminous Sealant illbruck making it perfect. • Thoroughly clean with a suitable cleaning solvent using the two cloth method, using one cloth dampened with the cleaning product to lift contaminants and a second clean dry cloth is used to remove any cleaner residue. • Apply masking tape to prevent contamination of adjacent surfaces. Joint Backing • If using as a sealant, if necessary back fill the joint with polyethylene joint backing in order to control the depth of sealant.
