Preparation • No special preparation is required, however, surfaces should be sound. • Best results will be achieved on dry, dust and grease free surfaces. • Paint residues and impregnating agents must be removed from the adhesion surface. Application • Minimum application temperature -5°C. • Spray evenly and thoroughly onto the substrate. • If the wetting of the surface is insufficient, repeat the process. • Highly absorbent, dusty substrates or very rough surfaces should be primed using a brush with ME901 Butyl & Bitumen Primer brush grade. • Cover adjacent surfaces, illbruck PU foam and floor coverings or decorative surfaces before spraying. • Protect the sprayed surface from dust, moisture, etc. • If the spray nozzle clogs, clean with a cloth and illbruck PU foam gun cleaner AA290. • The tape or membrane may be applied after approximately 10 mins at 20°C and after approximately 40 mins at -5°C. • Once the membrane is applied, consolidate the bond with the use of a seam roller. Based on 40 mm wide application strip, 1 aerosol can will yield approximately 50 linear metres. Cleaning Overspray should be removed immediately using illbruck PU foam gun cleaner AA290. Please Note Protect adjacent areas (and polyurethane foams) with masking tape or otherwise protect them from spray mist. Paints, varnishes and plastics can be dissolved.
