Butyl Tape BB illbruck making it perfect. • To determine the width of ME480 for covering joints, the general rule is to allow the width of the joint plus 50 mm cover onto both sides of the joint. • For membrane overlap joints, allow a minimum of 25 mm cover. Application • When applying ME901, allow approximately 30 minutes to dry before commencing application of ME480. • When applying more than one layer, start at the bottom and overlap any additional layers to provide water run-off.
