Compriband Ali-Tape PB Preparation • Surfaces must be clean and free from dirt, loose material, grease and oils. • It is recommended that rough or porous surfaces and overlaps are first treated with ME901 Butyl Primer or ME902 Butyl Spray Primer which will assist initial adhesion. Application • Do not apply to very cold or frosted surfaces. • Use of ME901 Butyl Primer may be considered under these circumstances. • Trim the materials to the required length / shape allowing an overlap of at least 25 mm where the materials are to be joined. • Ensure that there are no air pockets. • Apply even pressure over the entire surface using nonabrasive tools e.g. cloth or preferably hand roller. • Take care not to stretch or puncture the foil during application. Please Note Do not use in permanently submerged joints. Check for compatibility with other sealants. Do not use in joints subject to traffic.
