Product catalog summary
Description: The document describes FM330, a one-part, rapid, moisture-curing expanding polyurethane foam. It is gun-applied and offers excellent elasticity, air tightness, and acoustic properties. It adheres well to various materials including brick, stone, wood, and metal. The foam is white and packaged in a 750 ml pressurized canister.
Technical Information: The foam has a fire classification of B3 according to DIN 4102-1, a yield of 34 liters, and a water absorption rate of 0.2 kg/m². It has a density of 15-25 kg/m³, becomes tack-free in 10 minutes, and can be cut after 45 minutes. It offers an air tightness of less than 0.1 m³/(h.m) at 1750 Pa and a movement capability of 50%. The compressive strength is 11 kPa, and it has a thermal conductivity of 36 mW/m.K. The maximum acoustic rating is 63 dB. The application temperature ranges from +5°C to +30°C for the canister and -3°C to +35°C for the ambient environment. The service temperature ranges from -40°C to +130°C short term and -40°C to +90°C long term. The shelf life is 24 months when stored properly.
Usage and Benefits: FM330 is ideal for airtight gap filling in construction joints, including window and door perimeter seals. It offers high performance with excellent acoustic and airtight properties, a movement capability of up to 50%, and can be used at temperatures as low as -3°C. The low post-expansion allows for more accurate application.
Application Instructions: Before use, test for compatibility and protect surfaces. Shake the canister vigorously, attach the gun, and apply the foam by inverting the canister. Fill joints to 80-90% depth to allow for expansion. Apply in layers for deep joints, misting with water between layers to aid curing.
Cleaning and Safety: Clean the gun with AA290 PU Foam Cleaner. Cured foam can only be removed mechanically. The foam is not UV resistant and should be protected from sunlight. It is extremely flammable and should be kept away from ignition sources. Safety data sheets should be read before use.

Pro Foam Air Seal Preparation • Always carry out a test to confirm compatibility prior to use. • Protect floor coverings with paper or a plastic film. • Remove all loose particles, dust and grease. • A speedier cure can be attained by moistening the substrates if needed. Application • Shake the canister vigorously at least 20 times. Remove the protective cap and screw the gun carefully onto the canister. • Invert can and direct nozzle into gap, pressing gently on the trigger to establish the correct flow rate. • Joints should be underfilled to allow for post expansion of the foam.
