Cyanoacrylate Activator Preparation • Must be used in conjunction with an appropriate illbruck CY-series super glues. • Surfaces must be clean, dry, smooth, firm and free from any traces of contaminant which may aect adhesion. • Metal surfaces must be degreased using AT200 High Strength Cleaner and completely dry before bonding. Application • Spray CY360 evenly onto one of the surfaces to be bonded and allow sucient time for it to dry. • Apply the adhesive to the other surface. • Bring the surfaces together taking care to align correctly for 10 seconds or as shown below. • The high viscosity formulation allows use in vertical applications as well is for gap filling in joints of up to 0.25 mm. Usage / Purpose CY360 is a cyanoacrylate activator supplied in an easy-to-use handheld aerosol. It can be used in conjunction with any of the illbruck range of cyanoacrylate adhesives to create an instant high strength bond. CY360 is used to accelerate and improve the bonding of CY300 adhesive, particularly for mitred MDF joints during the assembly of valances, pelmets and decorative trims in the installation of kitchen units and fitted bedroom and oce furniture. Typical Bonding Times at Room Temperature depending on substrates) • Plastics 5 - 60 seconds • Rubbers 2 -20 seconds • Metals (degreased) 10 - 60 seconds Cleaning Cured adhesive can only be removed by mechanical means.
