Protective Equipment USE IN WELL VENTILATED CONDITIONS and ensure all recommended protective equipment is worn during handling & use of this product. Preparation • Surfaces must be clean, dry, smooth, firm and free from any traces of contaminant which may aect adhesion. • Metal surfaces must be degreased using AT200 High Strength Cleaner and completely dry before bonding. Usage / Purpose CY340 is a 2 part kit comprising a high viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive and a spray-applied activator. The high viscosity adhesive has excellent gap filling properties, while the activator accelerates curing speed and improves final bond strength. CY340 is ideal for the rapid bonding of mitred MDF joints during the assembly of valances, pelmets and decorative trims in the installation of kitchen units and fitted bedroom and oce furniture. Other uses include the rapid bonding of plastics, rubbers and wood. Application • Spray the activator evenly onto one of the surfaces to be bonded and allow time for it to dry. • Apply the adhesive to the other surface. • Bring the surfaces together taking care to align correctly for 10 seconds or as shown below. • The high viscosity formulation allows use in vertical applications as well is for gap filling in joints of up to 0.25 mm. Cleaning Cured adhesive can only be removed by mechanical means. Plese Note The substrates to be bonded must be close fitting. Surfaces must be degreased and clean before bonding.
