Description AT101 is a primer used to improve the adhesion of weathertight sealants to porous substrates. Usage Approximate volume used per 500 ml can Depth of Joint (mm) Coverage on Slightly Porous Substrates (m) Coverage on Highly Porous Substrates (m) Technical Information Property Drying Time In all cases, ensure the primer is dry before application of sealant Store in shaded dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C Shelf Life 18 months when stored as recommended in original unopened containers Protective Equipment USE IN WELL VENTILATED CONDITIONS and ensure all recommended protective equipment is worn during handling & use of this product. For full recommendation, refer to safety data sheet. Preparation • Ensure substrate is clean, dry and free from laitance. Application • Apply a thin coat using a brush. • Drying time will be increased in lower temperatures and decreased in higher temperatures. • Only apply sealant to primer which is touch dry. • Consumption will vary depending on depth of the joint and porosity of the substrate. • Quickly remove any spilt primer with a cloth. AT101 Primer for Silicone on Porous Substrates Usage / Purpose AT101 improves the adhesion of weathertight sealants onto various porous substrates.
