Traditional screed To obtain maximum acoustic performance, the floating screed must be completely disassociated from its support floor and the adjacent walls, which means special care must be taken during application. It must also be totally free of any dust particles, plaster powder etc, to ensure that all risk of the underlay being perforated is eliminated.
