The ECOSMART PB is a 3 positions (closed-sectionalized-earthed) switch-disconnector. The apparatus is composed of a stainless steel tank, welded and filled with SF6, and of a front operating mechanism, where the two operating slots to drive the line and earth contacts are positioned. The metallic tank ensures the earthing of the whole system and it contains the main contacts insulated in SF6 gas at a realtive pressure of 0,4 Bar at 20°C.The volume of gas used is very low, with a maximum limit of 250g for each device.
