Product catalog summary
Product Overview
UNDERSCREED is a high durability and long-term resilient product designed for top impact noise insulation. It is made from 100% recycled materials, specifically agglomerated cork and recycled rubber, and is used for impact and airborne noise insulation of floating slabs. The product is noted for its flexibility and sustainability.

Physical and Mechanical Properties
According to ISO 7322 standards, the product has a surface weight of 2.5 Kg/m², dynamic stiffness of 15 MN/m³, tensile strength greater than 600 KPa, recovery rate over 90%, and can bear loads up to 3,000 Kg/m². It is designed to last the lifetime of the building.

Thermal Properties
As per ISO 8301, the thermal conductivity is 0.081 W/m°K, and thermal resistance is 0.099 m²°K/W.

Acoustical Results
Tested under ISO 140 & 717, the product achieves an impact noise reduction of ∆Lw = 27dB.

Packaging
The standard packaging size is 1m x 10m x 8mm, with other sizes available upon request.

Installation Instructions
General installation instructions are provided by Amorim Cork Composites. The room temperature should be above 10ºC with moisture content below 75%. The subfloor must be structurally sound, clean, and level, with moisture content not exceeding 2.5% by weight.

Perimeter Insulation Barrier
A perimeter insulation barrier should be installed to prevent lateral noise propagation. It should be adhered to the wall using acrylic glue or silicone sealant.

AcoustiCORK U31 Installation
Unpack and store the product in the installation room 24 hours prior. Install directly over the subfloor, ensuring tight joints and no gaps. A vapor barrier must be installed over the product before screeding.

Screed and Final Flooring
A suitable screed should be cast over the vapor barrier. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for final flooring installation.
