6. FIRING THE STOVE Place the firewood in the firing chamber. Place an ecofriendly lighting aid at the centre and two handfuls of kindling over the top. Bear in mind that the stove must be filled with small pieces of chopped wood 33 cm in length. If you have a supply of mixed wood types, you can burn these together. Now ignite the lighting aid and lock the door. The wood burns from top to bottom.
