Base paints Tintable in shades o f the Tikkurila Sympho ny co lo ur card. Building material emissio n class 7-9 m 2 /l fo r abso rbing surfaces. 10-12 m 2 /l fo r no n-abso rbing surfaces. New surfaces: Clean dirt and dust fro m the unpainted surfaces. Level the surface with suitable Presto filler, if needed, and sand the dried surface. Remo ve sanding dust. Prime with e.g . Varma Primer. Previo usly painted surfaces: Wash do wn previo usly painted surfaces with Cleaning Ag ent (Maalipesu) and rinse carefully with water. Sand do wn hard, g lo ssy and with alkyd paint treated surfaces matt. Remo ve sanding dust. Fill cracks and ho les with suitable Presto filler and sand the dried surface. Remo ve sanding dust. If priming is needed, use e.g . Varma Primer befo re co ating . Stir Jo ker well befo re use and thin with water, if necessary. Apply by brush, ro ller o r spray 1-2 times. Clean to o ls with water and so ap. Tikkurila's Pensselipesu (To o l Cleaner) is reco mmended fo r cleaning hardened paint. Avo id cleaning appro x. 1 mo nth after the painting wo rk. Clean surfaces with a neutral (pH 6-8) deterg ent using a spo ng e o r cleaning clo th. Very dirty surfaces can be cleaned with a weakly alkaline (pH 8-10) deterg ent using e.g . a cleaning clo th o r a spo ng e. Rinse the surface carefully. Fo llo w the dilutio n instructio ns o f the deterg ent pro ducer when preparing the so lutio n. Handle the surface with care, ultimate durability and hardness is reached in appro x. o ne mo nth under no rmal circumstances. If cleaning is needed, use a damp cleaning clo th.
