I-PAINT PRODUCT SHEET Date: 11/2014 PRODUCT Description: Tierrano I-Paint is a VOC-free, natural and decorative clay paint for interior walls and ceilings. Clay, sand, cellulosebinder, starch, preservative, defoamer, water softener, titane-dioxide (only in Dover-White), water. Due to the character of natural earth pigments used, slight variations in color may appear between batches of the same color. Approx. 0,125 l/m2 per coat. In most circumstances 2 coats are sufcient (0,25 l/m2). Consumption is greater when applied onto rough substrates. Storage advice: Store dry and cool but free of frost. Once opened, I-Paint must be used within 6 weeks. 8 standard colors can be mixed amongst each other to create new shades: Dover white, Delphi white, Roman Ochre, Nassau orange, Djenné red, Ayers Rock, Iquitos green and Gomera grey. The palette of colors can be extended endlessly by mixing with Tierrafino pigment. Due to the character of natural earth pigments used, slight variations in color may appear between batches of the same color. Check the batch numbers mentioned on labels on the packaging. If you have several batch numbers, we advise to intermix these to avoid variations in color. (Example of a batch number: IPL0218DO01). AREA OF APPLICATION Clay paint suitable for prepared walls and ceilings in the interior. Only applicable in the exterior where protected from direct contact with water. Suitable for humid rooms, do not apply where there is a chance of direct contact with water. Suitable for painting of prepared substrates like base clay-, gypsum- and lime plasters, concrete and dry wall systems. • DIY/Professional to use • Ready with hand tools or spray machine Apply • Water vapour permeable • Humidity- and temperature regulating • Anti-static • Colorfast • Matte appearance • APPLICATION Circumstances: The air- and substrate temperature must be at least 5°C. Continuously dry, absorbing and free of dust and grease. Prepare smooth and multi colored substrates with Tierrafino Contact Fine primer. Since I-Paint is a thin coat, the structure of the substrate remains visable. Page 1/3

I-PAINT PRODUCT SHEET Date: 11/2014 To prepare a straight substrate, apply Tierrafino Base, Kalk or gypsum plaster first. Mixing: I-Paint is ready to use after stirring. Mix different colors well before application. Stir I-Paint well. Apply I-Paint with a brush or a roller. To refine the texture, brush or roll the surface again after a few minutes. Apply a second coat after the first coat has dried completely. Let dry. In most cases 2 coats are sufficient.
