DURO PRODUCT SHEET Date: 11/2014 PRODUCT Description: Tierrano Duro is a fine decorative clay plaster for interior walls and ceilings. Sands, clays and natural binder. Coarse finish: 1 mm – 1,3 kg/m2. Smooth finish: 2 mm – 2 kg/m2. Storage advice: Tierrafino Duro, when dry, can be kept for 5 years. 8 standard colors can be mixed amongst each other to create new subtle shades: Dover white, Delphi white, Roman Ochre, Nassau orange, Djenné red, Ayers Rock, Iquitos green and Gomera grey. Due to the character of natural earth pigments used, slight variations in color may appear between batches of the same color. The palette of colors can be extended by mixing with Tierrafino pigment. Check the batch numbers mentioned on labels on packaging. If you have several batch numbers, we advise to intermix these to avoid variations in color. (Example of a batch number: DUL0514DO01). AREA OF APPLICATION Decorative clay plaster for sufficiently load bearing walls and ceilings in the interior. Only applicable in the exterior where protected from direct contact with water. Suitable for humid rooms, do not apply where there is a chance of direct contact with water. Load bearing, continuously dry, absorbing, sufficiently rough to provide a mechanical key, free of dust and grease. Prepare smooth substrates with Tierrafino Contact Fine primer. Mixing: Add 3 – 3,5 kg Duro to 1 liter water and mix until a smooth paste is achieved. Let stand for 10 minutes, mix again, add water if necessary.
