Product Overview:
Thermafiber® Spiral Anchors are designed for easy installation of Firespan® mullion covers in curtain wall systems, providing up to 3-hour fire protection. They are a component of UL-approved assemblies and can be installed quickly using a #2 Phillips head drill bit. The anchors are available for overnight shipment and are used in conjunction with Impasse® hangers.

Specifications:
- Available lengths: 2 ¾” or 3 ¾”
- Custom lengths available for thicker mullion covers
- Shipped in quantities of 500, 1000, or 2000 pieces per carton

Installation Procedure:
1. Place the mullion cover over the vertical spandrel.
2. Mechanically attach the spiral anchor using a Phillips head drill or electric screwdriver.
3. Tape over all spiral anchors to restore the vapor barrier using Thermafiber Aluminum Foil or FSK tape.

Fire Containment Systems:
Spiral Anchors are part of UL® approved designs under ASTM E2307, including various CW-D and CW-S series designs.

Product Options:
Spiral Anchors can be used to mechanically fasten insulation to insulation in other applications, offering versatility in use.
