Product Description The Thales Identity Card Reader helps institutions inspecting and imaging travel documents, mobile & physical driver licenses including electronic travel documents and 1 D and 2D barcodes. Optionally, the Thales Identity Card Reader with RF model can read digital credentials conforming to mDOC specification, including QR codes and Bluetooth data retrieval. The reader's low profile and simple shape make it ideal for placing in counters, bank branches and ultimately in any commercial location that requires a secure interaction with credential documents and 1 D/2D barcodes. The design of the Thales Identity Card Reader is a step forward in terms of ergonomics and ease of usage when dealing with ID documents, that can be easily presented on the scanner glass for consistent reading with no prior knowledge from the end-user.
