Principle of Operation
The dehumidifiers function using two air flows: process air for dehumidification and regeneration air for rotor moisture removal. The process air passes through a silica gel desiccant rotor, absorbing moisture, while the regeneration air, heated to about 100°C, restores the rotor's absorbing capacity by removing the absorbed moisture.

Structure and Components
The dehumidifiers are constructed from galvanized steel with removable top panels for maintenance. They feature fans directly coupled to motors, a desiccant rotor with a honeycomb structure, and a belt-driven transmission system. The regeneration air heating coil is electric, and the units include G3 filters for air inlets.

Electrical and Control Features
The electrical panel complies with European standards and includes a main switch, ammeter, hour meter, and humidistat connector. Optional features include an energy meter and manual or automatic dehumidification control. The units can be configured for continuous operation of the process fan.

Optional Features and Versions
Models are available with optional satin-finish stainless steel frames, outdoor installation covers, heat recovery for regeneration air, and electronic wall-mounted humidistats. The AD models can also be equipped with turbo boxes for increased air pressure and different supply voltages.

Adsorption Dehumidifier PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION The dehumidifier works by using two air flows; the main one is the air to dehumidify, a second flow - of smaller flow rate - is used to regenerate the dehumidification rotor. Two fans inside the dehumidifier create these two air flows that pass through the rotor in opposite directions.
