Le projet de relocalisation de l’Ehpad de Maubourguet, petite ville des Hautes-Pyrénées, se distingue par l’articulation particulièrement originale de son scénario signé des architectes Joseph Frassanito, Jean-Michel Rombaldi et PLN associés qui a assuré le suivi des travaux. Le parti pris des concepteurs ? Organiser cet édifice autour d’un parc central qui enveloppe les résidents à la manière d’un cocon... Unis par un même revêtement en bardage terre cuite, les deux édifices se différencient simplement par la teinte des quelques 7 800 bardeaux. Blancs émaillés mats pour l’hôtel, gris clair pour les bureaux, ils ont été posés sur l’ensemble des façades… à la verticale !
