CASE HISTORY TENAX GRASSTRACK PROJECT DESCRIPTION Temporary access road for pedestrians and construction traffic. Durham County Cricket Club, Chester le Street, County Durham. Carpet-Time Flooring Specialists, Morton Park, Darlington, DLI 4PJ. TENAX GrassTrack The 3rd and final nPower Test Match took place at the Durham County Cricket Club in the middle of June, 2007. An area behind one of the spectator stands was used by the outside caterer's mobile units, however, the UK experienced the worst rainfall in June since 1914. This resulted in the ground becoming water-logged and the access route used by the caterer's vehicles had quickly turned into a muddy mess. Since this area was to be used by pedestrians walking to the catering area during the match, an immediate temporary solution was required to overcome this problem.

Since this problem arose only two days before the match was to start, urgent action was required, therefore, the Club contacted Carpet-Time who supply and install a wide range of ground reinforcement structures for both temporary and permanent applications. Carpet-Time was able to offer TENAX GrassTrack which is a heavy duty polymer grid in rolls with a high strength geo-textile bonded to the mesh.
