Product catalog summary
Main Features: The WD-GEO adhesive is a bicomponent, solvent-free, hypoallergenic product designed for parquet flooring. It contains less than 1% amine content and is highly flexible. The adhesive consists of two components: a light brown paste (Component A) and a liquid (Component B).
Storage: The product should be stored for up to 12 months in a dry place at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C.
Fields of Use: WD-GEO is suitable for fixing various types of parquet, including laminated, industrial, lamparquet, pre-surfaced, and pre-finished. It can be applied on substrates such as anhydrite screeds, wood, cement-based plaster, fiber cement, concrete, cement and lime mortar, cement-based screeds, and old ceramic floors.
Preparation and Application: The adhesive sets through a chemical reaction between the two components. It is crucial to mix them thoroughly using a blender with a spiral whisk attachment. The mixture should be applied with a trowel, and the wooden strips should be positioned with slight pressure. It is important to leave an 8 mm space from walls and ensure the wood's humidity is balanced with the room.
Warnings and Recommendations: Do not alter the mixing ratio or add anything to the product. Consumption is approximately 1000/1200 g/m² depending on substrate conditions and thickness.
Technical Data: The mixing ratio is 90:10 (Component A to B). The open time is 120 minutes, and workability time is approximately 2 hours. The adhesive is treadable after 48 hours and surfaces can be used after 72 hours. It has a thermal resistance from -40°C to 120°C.
Specification: Parquet flooring should be fixed using a bicomponent, solvent-free, epoxy-polyurethane based adhesive like TECHNOKOLLA's WD-GEO.

APPLICATION METHOD Before proceeding, make sure that the wood is in conditions of hygrometric balance with the room in which the parquet is to be fixed and that its humidity conforms to the manufacturer’s instructions. Before glueing, always check screed humidity, which must be <2% (<0.5% anhydrite), using a carbide hygrometer. The paste obtained by mixing the two components together should be applied by trowel with serrations that suit the size of the wooden strips. Position the strips, exercising slight pressure so that they perfectly contact the adhesive. It is inadvisable to glue the sides...
