RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES APPLICATION Compressible material must be positioned all round the edges of the room and around any pillars, so as to form the insulation joint. Application is performed in the same way as normal cement-based screeds, by preparing level strips which will then serve when the product is spread by striker. Do not prepare all the strips at once as TIMER-2 is fast setting and they would harden before they could be worked by striker, requiring liquid mortar in order to form an unbroken finish (see liquid mortar preparation for fixed screeds).
