Product catalog summary
Main Features:
TECHNOSTAR is a highly deformable monocomponent powder adhesive suitable for layers up to 15 mm thick. It is frost-proof, exhibits no vertical creep, and is available in white or grey powder form. The product is designed for fixing porcelain stoneware and natural stone, especially in large sizes, and is suitable for use on façades, heating screeds, swimming pools, and industrial floors.
Specifications:
TECHNOSTAR complies with EN 12004 standards, classified as C2TE S1. It has a curing time of 10 minutes, a pot life of 6 hours, and an open time of 30 minutes. The adhesive is treadable after 24-36 hours and can be used on surfaces after 14 days, or 21 days for tanks and swimming pools. It has a transverse deformation of 2.8 mm and initial tensile strength of approximately 2.4 N/mm² for grey and 2.3 N/mm² for white.
Fields of Use:
The adhesive is suitable for fixing ceramic tiles of all types, including large sizes, on walls and floors both indoors and outdoors. It is ideal for high-performance applications such as industrial environments, swimming pools, and facades. It can be used for over-tiling old ceramic tiles without primer and is suitable for fixing thin porcelain stoneware slabs, natural stone, and marble not affected by water. It can also be used for spot-glueing insulating panels.
Substrates:
TECHNOSTAR can be applied on various substrates including cement-based plaster, cement-lime mortar, gypsum-based plaster (with PRIMER-T), anhydrite screeds (with PRIMER-T), cement-based screeds, concrete, aerated concrete, old ceramic floors, old linoleum floors (with PRIMER-101), PVC (with PRIMER-101), vinyl (with PRIMER-101), plasterboard, and RASOLASTIK and RASOGUM ranges.
Preparation and Application:
To prepare the mixture, blend TECHNOSTAR with approximately 7 liters of clean water until homogeneous and lump-free. Use a low-speed blender to maintain the mechanical characteristics of the product. After blending, wait 5-10 minutes and stir briefly before application. The adhesive can be applied using a trowel and has optimal thixotropy.
Warnings and Recommendations:
It is recommended to apply two coats for tiles measuring 900 cm² or larger. Do not apply to metal or old tiles outdoors, and avoid using at temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C. Do not exceed a layer thickness of 15 mm.
Storage:
TECHNOSTAR should be stored in a dry place and has a shelf life of 12 months.
Environmental and Safety Information:
The product is low-VOC and tested by Eurofins, with an emission class of EC1 Plus. Users are advised to download the most up-to-date technical data sheet from the Technokolla website before use.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES OPERATIONS PRIOR TO APPLICATION Small localized hollows or gravel pockets in concrete can be leveled (thickness not more than 5 mm) with TECHNOSTAR 24 h prior to fixing. If thicker layers are required, use RASO, GAP or GAP-R before fixing tiles. HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE Blend TECHNOSTAR with approximately 7 l of clean water (29±1%). Blend until mixture is homogeneous and lump-free. It is advisable to use blender at low speed (approx. 500 rpm) as high speed will reduce the mechanical characteristics of the product. Wait 5-10 minutes, then stir the product briefly again...
