Product catalog summary
Main Features: TECHNORAP is a quick-setting, monocomponent powder adhesive with high polymeric content, suitable for fixing ceramic tiles, including porcelain stoneware, over-tiling, and on heating screeds. It is frost-proof and exhibits no vertical creep, allowing for layers up to 10 mm thick.
Appearance and Storage: The product is a grey powder and should be stored in a dry place for up to 6 months.
Fields of Use: TECHNORAP is ideal for quick fixing of ceramic tiles of all sizes on indoor and outdoor walls and floors, over-tiling without primer, and in high-performance environments like industrial settings, swimming pools, and facades. It is also suitable for fixing natural stone and marble not affected by water, and for use on water heating screeds.
Substrates: Suitable substrates include cement-based plaster, cement-lime mortar, gypsum-based plaster (with PRIMER-T), anhydrite screeds (with PRIMER-T), cement-based screeds, concrete, aerated concrete, old ceramic floors, old linoleum floors, PVC, vinyl (with PRIMER-101), plasterboard, and the RASOLASTIK and RASOGUM ranges.
Product Composition: Composed of high-strength cements, selected silicon/quartz mineral charges, and specific additives.
Preparation and Application: Before application, level any small hollows or gravel pockets with TECHNORAP. For thicker layers, use RASO or GAP-R. Blend TECHNORAP with approximately 6 liters of clean water per bag until homogeneous. Use a low-speed blender to maintain mechanical properties. Apply with a trowel for optimal thixotropy.
Warnings and Recommendations: Apply two coats for tiles larger than 900 cm². Do not apply to wood, metal, or old tiles outdoors. Avoid use at temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, and in layers thicker than 10 mm. Use with TC-LASTIC for specific cases like old ceramic floors outdoors and electrically-heated floors.
Technical Data: Curing time is 3 minutes, pot life is 30 minutes, and open time is 10 minutes. The product is treadable after 4-6 hours, with floor tiles grouted after 4-6 hours and wall tiles after 2 hours. Full surface usability is achieved after 48 hours, or 72 hours for tanks and swimming pools. The product meets various EN standards for tensile strength and bond performance.
Specification: Ceramic tiles must be fixed with a class C2FT cement-based powder adhesive according to EN 12004, such as TECHNORAP, applicable in layers up to 10 mm on cement-based substrates.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE Blend TECHNORAP with approximately 6 l of clean water per bag (24±1%) until mixture is homogeneous and lump-free. It is advisable to use blender at low speed (approx. 500 rpm) as very high speed will reduce the mechanical characteristics of the product. Wait 3-5 minutes, then stir the product briefly again before applying. The creamy paste obtained can be easily applied by trowel and possesses optimum thixotropy. WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS It is always advisable to apply two coats when laying tile sizes measuring 900 cm² or larger. Do not apply...
