Product catalog summary
Main Features: TECHNORAP-2 is a high-performance, quick-setting two-component adhesive designed for fixing large ceramic and marble tiles. It is suitable for over-tiling and use on heating screeds. Key features include quick-setting, high deformability, frost resistance, and no creep, with application layers up to 20 mm thick.
Appearance and Storage: The product is available as a white or grey powder. The powder should be stored in a dry place for up to 6 months, while the liquid component should be protected from frost and heat for up to 12 months.
Fields of Use: TECHNORAP-2 is suitable for quick fixing of ceramic tiles of all types, including large sizes, on indoor and outdoor surfaces, swimming pools, and facades. It is also suitable for stone materials, industrial environments, over-tiling, thin porcelain stoneware slabs, composite marble indoors, and fixing on electric or water heating screeds. It can also be used for spot-gluing insulating panels.
Substrates: Compatible substrates include cement-based plaster, cement-lime mortar, gypsum-based plaster (with PRIMER-T), anhydrite screeds (with PRIMER-T), cement-based screeds, concrete, aerated concrete, old ceramic floors, old linoleum floors (with PRIMER-101), PVC (with PRIMER-101), vinyl (with PRIMER-101), wooden panels, plasterboard, and the RASOLASTIK and RASOGUM ranges.
Nature of the Product: The adhesive consists of high-strength cements, selected silicon/quartz mineral charges, and specific additives. It is a low-VOC product tested by EUROFINS.
Warnings and Recommendations: It is recommended to apply two coats for tile sizes 900 cm² or larger. Do not apply to metal surfaces or at temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C. Avoid applying in coats thicker than 20 mm.
Consumption: Consumption varies based on trowel size, ranging from 3.6 kg/m² to 7.5 kg/m².
Preparation and Application: Mix the powder with latex until homogeneous and lump-free, using a low-speed blender to maintain mechanical properties. The mixture is thixotropic and can be applied immediately.
Technical Data: The adhesive has a curing time of 3 minutes, a pot life of 30 minutes, and an open time of 10 minutes. It becomes treadable after 4-6 hours, with floor tiles grouted after 4-6 hours and wall tiles after 2 hours. The surface can be used after 24 hours, or 72 hours for tanks and swimming pools. It meets various EN standards for creep, transverse deformation, compressive strength, and tensile strength.
Specification: The adhesive is classified as "C2FT S1 cement-based powder adhesive" according to EN 12004, suitable for layers up to 20 mm thick on cement-based substrates.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES OPERATIONS PRIOR TO APPLICATION Small localized hollows or gravel pockets in the case of concrete can be leveled (not more than 10 mm thick) with TECHNORAP-2 4-6 h prior to fixing. HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE 437145 Blender 1200 Blend TECHNORAP-2 by mixing the powder (25 kg bag – grey powder – or 22 kg bag – white powder) with the latex (5.5 kg can) until mixture is homogeneous and lump-free. It is advisable to use blender at low speed (approx. 500 rpm) as high speed will reduce the mechanical characteristics of the product. The creamy paste obtained can be easily applied...
