Product catalog summary
Main Features: TECHNOMOS is an ultra-white, self-grouting powder adhesive ideal for laying vitreous mosaic. It is a monocomponent product with optimum workability, frost resistance, and extended open time. The adhesive is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 35°C.
Appearance and Storage: The product appears as an ultra-white powder and should be stored in a dry place for up to 12 months.
Fields of Use: TECHNOMOS is used for fixing vitreous mosaic outdoors, indoors, and in swimming pools on walls and floors. It is also suitable for fixing ceramic tiles of all types and for high-performance applications such as on old ceramic tiles, in swimming pools, or on façades. It can be used on water heating screeds.
Substrates: Suitable substrates include cement-based plaster, cement-lime mortar, gypsum-based plaster (with PRIMER-T), anhydrite screeds (with PRIMER-T), cement-based screeds, concrete, aerated concrete, old ceramic floors, old linoleum floors, PVC, vinyl (with PRIMER-101), plasterboard, and the RASOLASTIK and RASOGUM ranges.
Nature of the Product: Composed mainly of high-strength cements, selected silicon/quartz mineral charges, and specific additives.
Preparation and Application: Before application, small hollows in concrete can be leveled with TECHNOMOS. For thicker layers, use RASO or GAP-R. Blend TECHNOMOS with approximately 8.25 liters of clean water per bag until homogeneous. Use a low-speed blender to maintain mechanical characteristics. The mixture should be applied with a trowel, and it has a pot life of 6 hours and an open time of 30 minutes.
Warnings and Recommendations: Apply two coats for tiles larger than 900 cm². Do not apply directly onto wood, metal, or old tiles outdoors. Avoid using at temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C, and do not exceed a coat thickness of 4 mm.
Consumption: Consumption varies with trowel size: 2 kg/m² for 3x3 mm, 3 kg/m² for 6x6 mm, and 4 kg/m² for 8x8 mm trowels.
Technical Data: The product meets EN 12004 standards with a curing time of 10 minutes, pot life of 6 hours, and open time of 30 minutes. It is treadable after 24-36 hours and fully usable after 14 days (21 days for tanks and swimming pools).
Specification: Vitreous mosaic tiles should be fixed with a class “C2TE cement-based powder adhesive” like TECHNOMOS, applied in layers up to 4 mm thick on cement-based substrates.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE Blend TECHNOMOS with approximately 8.25 l of clean water per bag (33±1%) until mixture is homogeneous and lump-free. It is advisable to use blender at low speed (approx. 500 rpm) as high speed will reduce the mechanical characteristics of the product. Wait 5-10 minutes, then stir the product briefly again before applying. The creamy paste obtained can be easily applied by trowel and possesses optimum thixotropy. WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS It is always advisable to apply two coats when laying 900 cm² tile sizes or larger. Do not apply directly...
