Product catalog summary
Main Features:
RS 90 is a two-component, high-performance, and highly flexible adhesive designed for fixing parquet and resilient materials such as rubber and PVC. It offers optimum workability and consists of a beige paste (Component A) and a liquid (Component B).
Storage:
The product can be stored for 12 months from the date of manufacture in a sealed original package at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
Fields of Use:
RS 90 is suitable for fixing flooring in rubber, rubber compounds for sports grounds, PVC, linoleum, textiles, fiber cement, and wood. It can be applied on substrates like metal, PVC, rubber, leveling mortar, anhydrite screeds, wood, cement-based plaster, fiber cement, concrete, cement-lime mortar, cement-based screeds, and old ceramic floors.
Nature of the Product:
The adhesive is composed of elastomeric epoxy-polyurethane resins, selected mineral charges, and specific additives.
Preparation of the Mixture:
RS 90 is a reactive adhesive that sets through a chemical reaction between its two components. It is crucial to mix Component B (liquid) with Component A (paste) thoroughly using a blender with a spiral whisk attachment. The reaction is exothermic, and high-speed stirring can accelerate the hardening process.
Warnings and Recommendations:
  • Do not apply on screeds not protected against rising damp, in places without windows or openings, or on bituminous surfaces.
  • Do not use for laying thin floor coverings where the adhesive line could be visible.
  • Rigid materials should be acclimatized in the room before application to prevent warping.
Application:
Check substrate humidity before application. If uneven, level with PLAN-10 fast self-leveling product. Apply the mixed adhesive with a serrated trowel and ensure uniform pressure to eliminate air pockets.
Consumption:
1000/1200 g/m² depending on substrate conditions and thickness applied.
Technical Data:
  • Mixing ratio: Component A to Component B is 90/10.
  • Pot life: 60 minutes.
  • Open time: 120 minutes.
  • Treadable after 12-24 hours.
  • Surfaces ready for use after 72 hours.
  • Application temperature: 10 - 30 °C.
Specification:
PVC and rubber must be fixed with a water-free, epoxy-polyurethane based, bicomponent adhesive such as TECHNOKOLLA's RS 90.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES APPLICATION Always check the humidity of the substrate with the relative instrument. If the substrate is uneven, it can be leveled with our PLAN-10 fast self-leveling product (see technical brief in www.technokolla.com). The paste obtained by mixing the two components together should be applied by serrated trowel to the substrate only. Lay the floor covering by exercising uniform pressure all over the surface so as to eliminate any air pockets. CONSUMPTION 1000/1200 g/m2 depending on conditions of substrate and thickness applied WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Do not apply:...
