FIELDS OF USE Restoration work in places where footfall noise must be reduced ISOFONIKO-R can be applied to indoor floors made of parquet, concrete, screeds (also heating screeds), old floors, ceramic tiles or similar. ISOFONIKO-R can be used on cracked substrates prior to laying the floor cladding (stone or ceramic) since it can absorb any movements, thereby preventing damage to the new floor surface. - Once the substrate has been prepared, mix the adhesive as described in the technical data sheet and start spreading it. Lay the matting tiles on the adhesive side-by-side in a staggered fashion, as shown in the diagram (Fig. 1). Cut the matting around pillars, walls, etc. It is very important to make sure that ISOFONIKO-R does not touch vertical parts but is kept about 4-5 mm away. Apply synthetic cord or compressible matting against all the vertical parts for this purpose. To ensure the matting adheres perfectly to the substrate, it may be necessary to place weights on it at the corners....

isofoniko-r WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS - Materials that need to be surfaced on site, such as natural stone or parquet, cannot be applied to ISOFONIKO-R. - 17.0 dB footfall noise reduction (Δ Lw) was measured in accordance with EN ISO 140.8 and refers to the standard floor described by the standard. This value may differ considerably, depending on the type of floor. - Lay ≥ 10 x 10 cm tiles ≥ 8 mm thick. - Natural stone must be at least 10 mm thick. - Prevent adhesive from oozing between the matting tiles when these are laid, as this would impair noise reduction efficiency.
