TEAM 7/ Karl Auer cubus cabinet with revolving doors A modern interpretation of a classic design: the cubus cabinet with revolving doors. The cabinet makes an impression due to a contrasting mixture of materials – sensuous natural wood and cool coloured and clear glass. The interplay between smooth and natural surfaces lend the clear, minimalist design mode an exciting tension. While the body is constructed from high-quality walnut with a herb oil finish, the doors comprise mostly from opaque coloured glass. Only the middle part of the doors are fitted with clear glass allowing free sight of the interior and the perfectly crafted wooden body. A particularly sophisticated and luxurious feature is provided by the glass doors which optically reach at a 90% angle as far as the sides. The glass shelves, which as an added extra can be equipped with LED lighting, are attached to the body and float forwards freely.
