ABOUT US DUNN IS A SMALL RHODE ISLAND BASED DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING FIRM, BORN IN 2010 FROM DESIGNER ASHER RODRIQUEZ-DUNN’S EXPLORATION INTO THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN NATURE, CRAFT, AND THE SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE. Our studio culture reflects this path and pursuit. We continually seek the delicate balance between work and play, endeavor to always do better, and never forget to indulge our adventurous sides. We express our expert knowledge of design and construction using time-honored techniques to maximize the beauty, durability, and structural integrity of every piece. Asher Rodriquez-Dunn has received numerous international, national, and local honors recognizing both his work and his ongoing contributions to the design field, including ‘Best New Designer’ at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (2010), New England Home’s ‘5 Under 40’ accomplished in design and architecture, Vogue’s ‘Ten Contemporary Designers to Collect Today,’ and Forbes’s ‘30 Under 30.’ His work has appeared in Dwell, New England Home, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Luxe, and American Craft, as well as many other publications. Asher was recognized as an Emerging Designer and inducted into the Rhode Island Design Hall of Fame by RI x Design, in no small part owing to his continued dedication to the local arts community in the Ocean State.
