Product catalog summary
Overview: The Sapporo is a modular storage system designed by Jesus Gasca in 1998 for STUA. It is characterized by its flexibility and adaptability, allowing users to customize and expand the system according to their needs.
Specifications: Each Sapporo unit has inside dimensions of 350 mm in height, 1140 mm in width, and 313 mm in depth, with a material thickness of 30 mm. The metallic base height is 130 mm, and the system can include castors of grey color with a diameter of 75 mm.
Modular Design: The Sapporo system is based on a single shelf that can be used individually or stacked up to six units high. The system is always white, inspired by the snowy city of Sapporo, Japan. Each shelf is reinforced with a frontal aluminum beam to prevent bending and includes guides for sliding doors.
Assembly: Assembly begins with a base, upon which one to six shelves can be stacked, topped with a final cover. Each shelf is packaged individually for ease of assembly. The base, available in grey or white, is made of steel and matches the thickness of the shelves. Doors are sold separately.
Customization: Sapporo offers a variety of door options, including transparent glass, frosted glass, wood, and plexiglas. Wood doors are reversible, featuring different finishes on each side, such as oak and walnut or various ash combinations. The system also includes a double cable management feature for electronic devices.
Applications: Sapporo can be used in various settings, such as home offices, TV stands, or as a bookcase. It can be expanded by adding more shelves as needed.
Key Features: The system's flexibility, reinforced shelves, and customizable doors make it a versatile choice for modern storage needs. The inclusion of castors allows for mobility, and the consistent height of bases with or without castors ensures uniformity.
