A house, yet a castle. Villa Bäckström in Hässleholm, Sweden. Designed by architects Fritz Jaeneke and Sten Samuelsson in 1971 for the Bäckström family. The spiral staircase in the centre ties the two floors together. The upper level, an ocean of translucent light with floor to ceiling windows.
