Pool Basin All Steel and style pool basins are made out of brushed 1.4404 grade (316L) stainless steel making them highly resistant to corrosion. All basins use the infinity edge system. The insulating, free-standing structure is assured through a composite created by the stainless steel inner side, the honeycomb, and a fiberglass shell. Tests and final modifications were conducted with the University of Toulouse. This composite is what makes the structure strong enough to be freestanding. Infinity edge system A dedicated pump guarantees proper function of the infinity edge (overflow) system. The pump is powerful enough to create sufficient overflow to ensure the pool’s skimming function. Water thus pumped into the pool basin is sent back via a series of adjustable nozzles. Water storage The buffer tank needed to regulate the water in the basin is integrated into the pool’s construction, making a separate reservoir unnecessary.
