Water circulation Water should be in movement at all times for optimal quality. The water in your swimming pool is circulated by a pool pump, which pumps water through the built-in components, throughout the pool and the filter system. The pool pump is used to initiate this water circulation. Pool water is drained from the pool through surface suction elements, the so-called skimmers. Water flows through a pipe system to the pool filter. This contains a filter cartridge, in which the filth is caught. The filtered water flows on and returns to the pool through a number of spouts.

Types of pool pumps The pool pump is, in essence, the engine of your swimming pool. Your swimming pool cannot function without a pump.
