User application ELASTOCOL 600 is used as cold-applied primer, to increase adherence for self-adhesive bitumen-based waterproofing membranes (SOPRASOLIN, COLPHENE, SOPRASTICK or SOPRASTICK SI). All the applications are described in the french DTU, SOPREMA’s Technical Guidelines, Technical Approval in force. On rough and absorbent substrate (i.e concrete, wood) : - 30 L can cover about 37 m² - 5 L can cover about 6,25 m² - 1 L can cover about 1,25 m² On smooth, non absorbent substrate (i.e metal), the average consumption may be lower. - 30 L can cover about 120 m² - 5 L can cover about 25 m² - 1 L can cover about 4 m² The product can be stored until 12 months at a temperature above 0°C in closed original packaging and protected from the sun. Ensure that the tools are clean. It will be applied with a brush, a roller or sprayed onto dry, clean surfaces free of non-adhesive materials. Metal surfaces must be degreased beforehand.
