Both sides are protected by a thermofusible film. User application AERISOL FLAM is an underlayer ensuring the semi-independence of weldable waterproofing membranes. All the applications are described in Technical Approvals or SOPREMA’s Technical Guidelines in force. Composition AERISOL FLAM Reinforcement Heavy duty perforated glass fleece 120 holes of 40 mm diameter / m² (about 15% of the surface) Oxidized bitumen Thermofusible film Thermofusible film Packaging AERISOL FLAM Dimensions of the roll Roll lengths are given with a tolerance of < 1 %. Width of roll is given with a tolerance of 1% (UEAtc). Rolls must be stored upright on flat ground. During storage, protect the rolls against moisture. In cold weather, we recommend that the rolls be kept at a minimum temperature of + 2°C (+ 36 °F) for at least 5 hours before installation. Installation AERISOL FLAM is unrolled , edge to edge, on the substrate (depending of the substrate, coated with a cold-applied primer, for example on concrete). The waterproofing membrane is then fully welded onto AERISOL FLAM, making sure that the melted bitumen flows into the perforations. Hot bitumen must not be used in the bonding process.
