Accent-Colour Release Description Accent-Colour Release™ is a pigmented dry powder release for the stamping tools designed to be used when a mottled, antiqued appearance is desired. Accent-Colour Release™ is a pigmented bondbreaker, formulated with proprietary components and high purity pigments that are UV resistant and streak free. Accent-Colour Release™ is available in 20 Classic Series colors and 8 Signature Series colors designed to add contrast or antiquing effects with Colour-Hard™ or ColorFlo® Liquid Color integral colors. Accent-Colour Release™ is packaged in 30 lb. plastic pails. Colors Accent-Colour Release™ is available in 20 Classic Series and 8 Signature Series colors. Refer to Legacy Color Card LEG-CSC1 for available colors. Application Preparatory work: Protect adjacent areas from contamination during application. Estimate amount of Accent-Colour Release™ required for project. Stage Accent-Colour Release™ outside the formwork, along and adjacent to work site. Avoid application in windy conditions. Accent-Colour Release™ can pack tightly in container during shipment and storage. Loosen and fluff the Accent-Colour Release™ prior to broadcasting to ensure a more even application. Only broadcast the Accent-Colour Release™ to small areas, approximately 10 to 15 square feet (1 to 1.4 square meters) immediately prior to the stamping process. Broadcast the Accent-Colour Release™ in a thin, uniform layer covering the colored, troweled concrete surface. Do not over apply Accent-Colour Release™. Over application can decrease texture and detail. Do not trowel Accent-Colour Release™ into the concrete surface. Stamping process should begin as soon as the Accent-Colour Release™ has been applied. Remove residual Accent-Colour Release™ when concrete surface is sufficiently cured. Excess Accent-Colour Release™ should be first swept from concrete surface, and then pressure washed to achieve desired antiqued effect. Allow concrete surface to dry thoroughly, then seal. Colors and Coverages Accent-Colour Release™ is available in 20 Classic Series and 8 Signature Series colors. One pail of Accent-Colour Release™ covers approximately 1000-1200 square feet (93-112 m2). Packaging Accent-Colour Release™: 30-pound (13.6 kilogram) pail, 36 pails per pallet. Storage and Shelf Life Store in a cool, dry area. Shelf life is 1 year from date of manufacture in original unopened containers. Clean Up Wash Accent-Colour Release™ from Legacy Tooling™ with clean water. Limitations Do not trowel Accent-Colour Release™ into the concrete surface. Accent-Colour Release™ should not be used as a primary coloring agent. Avoid application in windy conditions.
