Overview: This document provides technical specifications and assembly instructions for DHW-Tanks with capacities of 300L, 400L, and 500L. These tanks are designed for efficient utilization of solar energy and are ready-to-use with simple assembly.
Technical Specifications:- The tanks are made of steel with a 50 mm PU rigid foam insulation and a grey synthetic jacket. They include a magnesium sacrificial anode, thermometer, and two welded-in bare tube heat exchangers.
- Each tank has a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and can withstand temperatures up to 95°C for domestic hot water heating and 110°C for solar circuits.
- The tanks come with a pump station set DN 25, which includes a flow regulator, pump, non-return valves, safety valve, manometer, and thermometers.
- A single-circuit solar control unit with a large display and three sensor inputs is included. It features a factory-activated START function and functional installation check.
Assembly Instructions:- Connect the solar supply (VS) and return (RS) lines.
- Attach the collector sensor (S1) to the solar control unit.
- If using a heating backup, connect the boiler supply (VK) and return (RK).
- Install the existing boiler sensor into the sensor well (FK).
- Mount the retaining bracket for the expansion vessel and connect it with an armored hose.
- Plug in the solar control unit using the preset program “0”.
Recommendations for Dimensioning:- For 2-4 persons, a 300L tank with up to 7 m² collector surface is recommended.
- For 3-5 persons, a 400L tank with a 13 m² collector surface is suitable.
- For 4-6 persons, a 500L tank with a 13 m² collector surface is advised.
Additional Features:- Optional exact measurement of heat with a flow volume sensor is available.
- Supplementary electric heating (EHZ) can be integrated.
