Ce bloc monocorps moulé, réalisé dans un acier hautes caractéristiques mécaniques, maîtrise par sa forme, les ralentissements et les contraintes exigés par la norme EN 81. Les cames engageantes sont entrainées en rotation contre un patin de frottements ajusté en épaisseur de façon à contrôler la pression exercée sur le guide. La prise amortie est ainsi assurée. Les patins et cames sont réalisés dans un acier traité de façon à résister aux frottements. Toutes les commandes (leviers, tringlerie...) sont placées sur les faces arrières et évitent ainsi toutes interférences avec les vis de fixations...
