The two piece design provides ventilation and relieves pressure on the lower back, while promoting good posture. The frame is constructed from 16-gauge 1" diameter tubing with a powdercoat finish making the legs more durable. The steel tubes are assembled in an X-frame design to prevent rear leg from collapsing. The 14-gauge steel back loop is MIG-welded for maximum strength to the frame. The tubes are swedged to a " diameter to accept our outside hold glides. Nylon glides come standard but for an additional charge both a felt and steel option are available to meet the needs of any type of flooring (felt and steel glide options are factory installed and must be on original chair order). All glides are our legendary outside-hold which hold stronger, longer and feature a swivel base and chrome plated steel cover.
