Inclination of the skylight curb The Skylux iWindow2™ or Skylux iWindow3™ must be installed with an inclination angle between at least 4° and max. 25°. To avoid the glass getting dirty and water stagnation, we recommend an inclination of 5°. Mounting the sloping PVC frame 08/00 (optional) If you use the optional sloping PVC frame 08/00, you can also install on other base curbs. Requirements base curb: • strong enough • top surface at least 150 mm above the roof insulation min. 50 mm (*) daylight size of flange of base curb = daylight size PVC 08/00 roofing insulation (*) Max. 60 mm for daylight sizes with short side > 1,000 mm, because the hinges are located here. Mounting the frame On Skylux PVC curb: Open the packing and leave the frame upside down. Screw the clips pieces at the bottom of the frame with the delivered stainless steel screws. Start at 20 cm from the ends with an axis-distance of maximum 60 cm for installation on PVC curbs 16/20 EP, 20/00 EP(-S), 30/20 or 35/30. For installation on PVC curbs 16/00, you need to order a separate special mounting set with clips and screws.
