Joe Fiacchino, with 28 years of experience in exhibit design, has collaborated with leading design and production companies. His expertise lies in interpretive exhibit design for corporations and museums, with a recent focus on children's venue design. As an independent designer, he partners with industry specialists on interactive projects.
The Greenplay furniture system, designed by Joe Fiacchino, uses a variety of materials including wood composites and HDPE in multiple colors. These materials are chosen for their sustainability, featuring recycled, renewable, and low-impact resources with low-VOC emission finishes.
Greenplay offers a range of whimsical and durable furnishings that are safe for children. The products promote environmental and social responsibility and include a take-back program for repurposing and donation.
The product line includes various activity stations, benches, tables, and stools such as the Submarine Activity Station™, Glider Activity Station™, and Clover Activity Table™. These products are designed to be multi-use, providing storage and seating solutions.
Greenplay has received several accolades, including the Metrocon 2009 Best New Product award, Interiors and Sources 2009 Bloom Awards Honorable Mention, and BuildingGreen 2007 Top 10 Products.
