AM 2000 Injectable with sleeve Concept Pipe reinforcement entirely wrapped by a fabric sleeve (the sleeve), a threaded bar is placed through the pipe (the tie bar), to be prestressed. The pipe head closing plate will allow the thrust of a fastening bolt ; Fabric sleeve wraps part of the anchor; Simple or double injection pipe depending on whether the threaded bar is located outside (injection of sleeves only) or inside the masonry wall (injection of the whole borehole). Fig. A This type of anchor is used for the re-fastening of existing masonry walls. In some cases the combination sleeves/tie bar is located inside the masonry wall and the whole borehole is injected It is not more visible after the repair of the fronts (Fig.A). In other cases the tie is outside the masonry wall (Fig. B and C) , when the core of the building is empty . The tie shall be made of stainless or zinc coated steel.. Steel Anchors
